Commemorate your passion for the arts or honour the memory of a loved one.

For a tax-deductible donation of $5,000 or $10,000, you can dedicate a seat in the newly refurbished Roslyn Packer Theatre. Your support will provide vital funds to Sydney Theatre Company to power the future of live performance in this iconic venue.

Your seat can be dedicated in your name, your company name, or in the name of a loved one or family member. The seat plaque will be a lasting legacy of your connection with the Roslyn Packer Theatre and will remain in place until 31 December 2045.

Plaque inscriptions can have up to two lines of text, with a maximum of 20 characters per line. Payments can be split over multiple instalments for your convenience.

In these Terms and Conditions, Company, us, we or our means Sydney Theatre Company Ltd (ABN 87 001 667 983).

By providing a donation of a specified amount to the Company for a seat dedication, the donor consents to the following Terms and Conditions.

Seat plaques are inscribed with requested text (the “inscription”) and payment is accepted, subject to the following conditions.

For multiple payment instalments, they will be scheduled in consultation with the STC Philanthropy team, with a maximum payment schedule window of 20 months from the date of first transaction.
Unfulfilled payments on due instalments may result in removal of seat dedication plaque.
No goods or services will be provided to the donor in consideration of the donation.
Seat plaques will be in place until at least 31 December, 2040. STC reserves the right to have plaques in place beyond this date.
Donors will be recognised and acknowledged in consideration for the donation for a period of 12 months in printed material subject to acknowledgment preferences, unless otherwise indicated.
The donation does not entitle the donor to any ticketed performances.
Seat dedications do not guarantee ticket availability. Booking your dedicated seat for future productions will be subject to availability. Donors are not guaranteed seating in chairs bearing their dedicated plaque(s) when attending performances.
The placement of seat plaques in the theatre will vary according to the flexible seating configuration of each production. Seat position is not guaranteed in The Wharf’s new flexible seating arrangements.
In the event a seating configuration is not able to accommodate the number of plaques, not all seat plaques may be present in each performance. Please note all currently planned seating configurations have capacity to include all plaques.
Inscriptions can have up to two lines of text, with a maximum of 20 characters, including spaces, per line.
Inscriptions are subject to approval by STC Management and must not be offensive to anyone or any group. STC reserves the right to remove any seat plaques that do not abide by STC’s policies and procedures, which may include, but is not limited to, unbecoming inscriptions which would serve to bring the Company into disrepute or bring discredit to the Company by association.
